UGREEN NAS Downloads & Updates FAQ
Select NAS, choose your exact UGREEN NAS model, then download the matching file from the correct category. Do not use files from another model. If you are setting up your NAS for the first time, follow the NASync Series Beginner Guide before installing firmware or changing system settings.
System Firmware updates the NAS system. Client is for desktop access and management. Apps are downloadable NAS application packages. Product Documentation includes manuals and guides. Peripheral Driver is for supported accessories. UPS Firmware is for UGREEN UPS devices. If you only need the phone, desktop, or TV app, use App Downloads instead.
Use online update unless you specifically need a local firmware package. Online update is simpler and safer for most users. If you install firmware manually, select the exact NAS model, back up important data first, and confirm the update direction in the System Update Plan.
Select your NAS model, then download the desktop client from the Client category. Use this if you want to manage your NAS from a Windows PC or Mac. Do not download System Firmware if you only need the desktop client.
No. UGREEN does not currently list a dedicated Linux desktop client in this Download Center. Linux users can still access UGREEN NAS through browser access or standard network file sharing.
