Last Updated Date: November 3, 2025
READ FIRST — Scope & Definitions
Welcome to the Official UGREEN NAS Community (the “Community”) — an open, global discussion space for UGREEN, NAS users, NAS-focused creators, anyone who is interested in NAS and Brands representatives to share experiences, creations, and insights in a friendly, professional, and helpful environment.
Definitions.
l “UGREEN,” “we,” or “our” refer to Ugreen Group Limited and all its affiliates.
l “You,” or “your” the natural person or brands (except UGREEN) who accesses or uses the Community through an account. Brands (except UGREEN) must participate only via a Brand representative, who remains responsible for the account’s actions.
l “Brand representative” refers to those who are officially authorized by their own brands(except UGREEN) and act within the scope of our authorization to participate in the Community.
l “Voucher” means a value instrument issued under our Points Policy upon conversion of Community Points and redeemable off-Community via official UGREEN channels (e.g., the UGREEN Webstore and the UGREEN NAS Webstore).
Scope.
These Official UGREEN NAS Community Rules (the “Community Rules”) govern your use of the Community. These Community Rules apply only to the Community. Other UGREEN products and services (e.g., the UGREEN Webstore and the UGREEN NAS Webstore) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Acceptance & Updates.
These Community Rules form part of the UGREEN NAS Community’s Terms and Conditions (the “T&C”) and are incorporated by reference. You agree to these Community Rules when you create an account by checking the consent box for the T&C (which includes these Community Rules). We may also present an in-product notice before your first post or comment; where presented, you must confirm it to proceed. We will announce updates and display the Initial Effective Date and the Last Updated Date at the top of this page. Unless stated otherwise, changes take effect on the Last Updated Date; where permitted by law, your continued use after the Last Updated Date constitutes acceptance.
By agreeing to the T&C, you state that you are at least 13 years old and over the minimum age required by the laws of your country of residence to agree to the T&C; or if you are over 13 but under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, that your legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to the T&C.
1. What This Community Is (and Isn’t)
1.1. What This Community Is.
l A place for discussion, sharing, and peer support about UGREEN NAS and the broader ecosystem.
1.2. What This Community Isn’t.
l No third-party ads or commercial solicitation. The Community may host official UGREEN updates and brand education, but it is not a marketplace for third parties.
l No on-Community commerce by anyone. Do not collect orders, payments, addresses, or leads in the Community without permission.
Transactions occur off-Community. If members wish to purchase UGREEN products or services, or redeem Vouchers for eligible UGREEN products, any such actions occur off-community via official channels—e.g., the UGREEN Webstore, or the UGREEN NAS Webstore—each under its own terms and privacy policies. The Community does not process payments, orders, or shipping, and it does not distribute promotional coupons or discount codes.
2. Our Guiding Principles
The Community thrives when we keep five simple commitments:
l Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be Authentic, Be Original, and Be Constructive.
These principles set the tone and anchor every rule that follows. The specifics—how we interact, what content is prohibited, and day‑to‑day best practices—are detailed in Sections 3–5. When in doubt, choose accuracy over drama, credit over copying, and help over heat.
3. Be Respectful
How users interact with each other in the Community.
l Civility. No harassment, bullying, stalking, or doxxing. No slurs or dehumanizing labels.
l Good‑faith debate. Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Address arguments, not identities.
l No impersonation. Do not present yourself as UGREEN or “official‑looking” without authorization.
l Multi‑cultural sensitivity. Do not use symbols or imagery that target religion, ethnicity, or protected groups; be mindful of regional norms and faith traditions.
l Respect Privacy. Do not post private messages or personal data in violation of platform rules; when sharing, especially logs or screenshots, minimize and redact (e.g., black out) personal data.
4. What’s Not Allowed
Clear content prohibitions. Examples are illustrative, not exhaustive.
l Illegal or dangerous content, including child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, and instructions that meaningfully facilitate serious harm.
l Hate, harassment, and abuse, including doxxing and targeted degradation of protected classes.
l Deception and manipulation, including fabricated/“debunked” claims, clickbait or misleading packaging, and vote/metric gaming (brigading, mutual‑boost rings, artificial traffic).
l Reposting removed content or evading moderation decisions (e.g., re‑uploads, link cloaking).
l Intellectual property infringement, including unauthorized copying, distribution, public display or performance, creation of derivative works, or use of third‑party trademarks or copyrighted material without permission.
l On‑Community commerce, including collecting orders, payments, addresses, or leads without permission.
l Third‑party promotion, including price lists, referral/affiliate links, promo QR codes, or “DM for deals.”
l Unsafe how‑to’s that enable device abuse or security bypasses (high‑level discussion is fine; operational steps are not).
l Others. Other illegal acts stipulated by the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction, or any conduct that we deem to have a negative impact on UGREEN, the Community, or other Community users.
5. Community Best Practices (The Do’s and Don’ts)
5.1. The Do’s.
l Search first to avoid duplicates; continue in an existing thread when suitable.
l Use clear, accurate titles that reflect the content; avoid sensationalism.
l Provide context (device model, firmware, steps tried, relevant logs/screenshots with redaction).
l Cite original sources and use permalinks where possible; give proper attribution.
l Cultural & faith context. When discussing religion or ethnicity, use neutral language and brief context; avoid stereotypes and irreverent uses of sacred symbols/places in titles or thumbnails.
l Editing transparency — when you update a post after publishing (especially substantive changes), add a brief note (e.g., "Edited: added steps/clarified results").
l Disclose material connections (review units, incentives, or benefits) where relevant.
l Linking Your Own Content (9:1 Guideline) — Link to your own work only when it's relevant and helpful to the discussion. Ensure no more than 1 in 10 of your posts are self-referential links. This doesn't permit commercial ads without permission.
l Voting & reactions — use votes/reactions to reflect quality and relevance, not personal feelings about the author. When practical, explain critical feedback constructively. Do not coordinate votes.
l Reward good work — up‑vote and acknowledge quality contributions.
l Use the right category and tags to help others find and triage issues.
l Report etiquette — report clearly and once per issue; avoid duplicate reports. We will review and reply under the Reporting & Response Policy.
5.2. The Don’ts.
This section covers behaviors that degrade quality. Red‑line content lives in Section 4; where there’s any overlap, Section 4 governs and enforcement may be immediate.
l No spam or noise — avoid serial short replies, mass @mentions, or cross‑post flooding to game visibility.
l No vote gaming — avoid brigading, mutual‑boost rings, or artificial traffic inside or outside the Community.
l No misleading packaging — avoid clickbait titles/thumbnails, fabricated claims, or “official‑looking” presentation without authorization.
l Don’t hijack threads — keep discussions on topic; start a new thread for new issues.
6. Accounts, Names & Profiles
l Authentic identity. Do not impersonate UGREEN, staff, or any other person or entity.
l Official roles & badges. You may display roles such as UGREEN official,Brand representative/Authorized Partner, Moderator/Admin/Staff, or Verified Creator only if UGREEN has assigned them to your account.
l Enforcement. We may require a rename, remove visuals, edit/remove profiles, and restrict or suspend accounts. Repeated or egregious violations may result in a ban and loss of Points. Trademark enforcement may also apply under applicable law.
