1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

1.1.Account registration and login: We collect your phone number (for Chinese mainland users) or email address (for users in other countries and regions) and identification information (profile photo and nickname) to help you register and login, protect your account security, bind UGREEN NAS devices, and send important notifications via SMS or email. If you use the local account, we does not collect any personal data of you. If you use the two-factor authentication feature, we will collect your email address to send you a verification code as an alternative login method.

1.2.Device Binding: We collect the device model, system version, serial number, MAC address, and IP address information to identify and link your device for the UGREEN NAS device management.

1.3.Login History and Trusted Device Management: We record your login time, operation history, location information, IP address, operating system, and access method information to improve account security, and offer you the option to set devices as trusted to avoid repeated authentication.

1.4.Technical Support Ticket (Web): We collect the UGREEN NAS device serial number, product model and system type, client type, data on how the client is linked to the NAS device, and your phone number or email address (optional) to provide technical support.

1.5.LAN Device Search: We collect the device name, IP address, Mac address, serial number, operating system version, model name, and status to ensure search accuracy when using find.ugnas.com to search for LAN devices.

1.6.UGREENlink Service: We collect the device serial number, IP address, and routing port information to enable remote connections when you use UGREENlink.

1.7. Biometric Unlock for UGREEN NAS Safes: To unable the user to unlock the UGREEN NAS Safes through the biometric unlock feature (including authentication via face ID and fingerprint on supported models), we collect the APIs provided by the operating system on your device to obtain anonymous authentication results ("Pass" or "Fail"). We neither access, store, nor transmit any raw biometric information.

1.8. Baby Album: When you create a baby album, we collect the baby's nickname and date of birth. The nickname is used to name the baby in the album, while the date of birth is used to organize and display the baby’s photos by age.

1.9.Technical Support: We may need to collect your device SN number, system version number, network conditions, operating logs, client details, and access your personal files (only when authorized) when providing technical support.

1.10.User Experience Surveys: We may invite you to participate in the survey and collect your email address for sending surveys to improve our services (only for non-Mainland China users). With your consent, we may also send marketing communications to your email address.

1.11.Independent and Third Party Services: We may offer or provide links to third party services. Your use of these services is subject to their corresponding terms of service.

2.1.Use of Third Party SDK/API: Our products and services may contain third party SDK/API. The third parties may collect and process your information when you use these products and services. 3.2.Correcting Your Personal Account Information: You can correct your personal information via the UGREEN NAS mobile client, PC client, or online account on the official website. Please contact us if you need to correct information that cannot be corrected online.

3.3.Changing or Revoking Authorization: You may change or revoke your authorization for us to use your personal information. Revoking authorization will not affect the processing of any previously authorized information.

3.4.Deleting Personal Information: You can delete some personal information via the mobile client, PC client, or official website. Please contact us to delete other information or for specific circumstances (such as illegal information processing).

3.5.Account Closure: You have the right to close your UGREEN Cloud account and can do so via the mobile client, PC client, or official website. You will need to first unbind any third party social platform accounts used to log in to UGREEN NAS.

3.6.Obtaining Copies of Your Personal Information: You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information, which can be requested via the designated email address.

3.7.Restricting Information System Automated Decision-making Features: You are entitled to request explanations or corrections of features based on automated decision-making processes to protect your legal rights.

3.8.Responding to Requests: We will respond to your requests within 15 business days after verifying your identity. Reasonable requests are typically processed free of charge. In certain statutory circumstances, we may not be able to respond to your request.
